The 2nd Symposium on Immunomodulation in Cancer and Regeneration took place on the 23rd of June 2017, in Porto.
During this one-day symposium top scientists working in immunomodulation, cancer and regeneration came together to discuss the future challenges in translating novel immunomodulatory strategies into more effective therapies.
Lectures took place in a very informal environment, and participants were encouraged to bring questions in order to contribute to the advancement of knowledge through integrative approaches.
The program included three lectures by invited speakers and short oral presentations selected from the submitted abstracts. A round table session on “Macrophages in cancer and regeneration: friends or foes?” closed the Symposium.
Poster sessions also took place during coffee breaks and prizes were awarded to the Best oral and poster presentation.
